The Generic Green Bean
|
No One is Perfect
|
What many people don’t know is that when the clock strikes midnight each day the objects in your house that you think are inanimate come to life. Scientists have found, after much deliberation and research, that vegetables are the most human-like objects of them all. Today we will learn about one vegetable that has a specifically interesting case at Bamboosaaridinarifolia Junior High. The first vegetable we will focus on today is the generic green bean. This green bean is neither popular nor unpopular, just somewhere in the middle. It is intelligent but not a genius, athletic, but not the star of the team, and funny but not hilarious. We will now interview this green bean.
Green Bean: Hi! You may not know this about me, but I am a green bean. Shocking, right? Anyhow, what were we talking about again? What? Me? Really? Wait, like actually? No one ever talks about me! Mom, I’m famous! Interviewer: So, Green Bean, since we’re short on time, we are going to ask you two questions. This is how you will be remembered, so think carefully about your answers. Green Bean: Okay!! This is the first time I’ve EVER been interviewed! Are you sure you’ve got the right green bean? Interviewer: Yep, we’re sure. Okay, first question: You’re the middle child in a family of five, correct? Green Bean: Yep. Interviewer: So what are your thoughts on that? Is it as stereotypical as the publicists say? Green Bean: Umm… so, like… yeeahhh…? Interviewer: So it’s true? You’re really at the center of a public stereotypical conspiracy theory that has puzzled the minds of experts for generations?! Green Bean: Umm… What? I gotta go… Interviewer: You heard it here, folks. The rumors are true! SAVE THE MIDDLE CHILDREN!! MIDDLE CHILD RIGHTS!! Umm. So, THAT got out of hand. It seems we will be having a substitute interviewer for all future interviews. At this moment our normal one is running around insanely yelling about the trials and tribulations of middle children. No one is ever perfect, they might say to you
And you may think this is true. But ask yourself, “What is perfect?” Ask someone else, and learn that They won’t say the same thing as you Because everyone thinks perfect doesn’t exist too. Although someone may tell you, you're not enough, Don’t listen to them, they’re not the one. But someday, when the time is right, Someone will look at you and say “You truly are perfect this way.” You may not be perfect for you, But someone else will find The true perfection that they love in you. |
